SOLOMON ISLANDS - for independent travellers
Air Niugini flies twice a week from Port Moresby to Honiara, making the Solomons an ideal destination to combine with Papua New Guinea. Solomon Airlines and Pacific Blue also fly in to Honiara from Brisbane several times a week. We offer several one-week packages to Honiara, Malaita and the Western Solomons. These are the only destinations with daily domestic air services that can be included in generic any-date packages. Other islands like Rennell, Santa Isabel and the Florida Islands can be included in a customised package based on specific dates and flights - please enquire.
Note that there are no scheduled air services between The Autonomous Region of Bougainville (PNG) and Solomon Islands - all scheduled air travel between the two countries is via Port Moresby-Honiara flights only. Neither are there any aircraft available for charter in Bougainville or the Western Solomons. The nearest light aircraft available for charter are ex- Rabaul or Honiara.
