Due to limited accommodation, vehicles, guides and other resources in PNG's small towns, it is often difficult to provide separate arrangements for many independent travellers all wanting to do their own thing during peak periods such as festivals and shows. We found it a more economical use of resources to offer a package with accommodation and organised day excursions for independent travellers. With these packages you have a choice of accommodation options with or without meals, and come together with other travellers each day to attend the festival. Those festivals in larger towns with adequate accommodation options for independent travellers are included here in our weekender packages.

One of those things to see before you die... the Mt Hagen Show is the largest singsing festival in PNG and provides an ideal opportunity for visitors to see a kaleidoscope of PNG cultures in one location.
