Witness the colourful Morobe Show and explore rarely-visited World War 2 battle sites of New Guinea’s eastern coastline aboard local charter vessel MV Enjoy. Explore the historical coastal townships of Finschhafen and Salamaua, ponder the sombre beach-head battlefields of Gona and Buna and visit both the northern and southern ends of the famous Kokoda Track. The tour is designed for war veterans and their families and others interested in New Guinea’s wartime history. There is no strenuous exercise involved apart from climbing in and out of boats and some easy walking.
