An eight hour guided tour including the central business district, Fairfax Harbour, Hanuabada urban stilt village, Ela Beach, Koki Fish Market, Handicraft and artifact market, National Museum and Art Gallery, Parliament House, Port Moresby Nature Park and University.Includes bottled water and any entry fees.

Spend the morning taking in the WW2 harbour defences, National Museum, Jackson Field, Schwimmer Drome war relics display and Bomana War Cemetery then after a chicken lunch stop at Adventure Park Zoo head up to Owers Corner, the southern end of the Kokoda Track which has information boards about the Kokoda Campaign and a Howitzer artillery gun on display. Includes bottled water and lunch.

Spend the morning taking in Port Moresby city's key city sights then head out Sogeri Road with stops at the Bomana War Cemetery, Adventure Park Zoo (chicken lunch here ) and the Rouna Falls lookout, arriving at tiny Sogeri township then select ONE side trip to either Owers Corner (Kokoda Track) OR Varirata National Park OR Crystal Rapids cascades and Lake Sirinumu.

With first stop at Bomana War Cemetery, continue out Sogeri Road up the Rouna Gorge with en route stops at Adventure Park Zoo, the National Orchid Gardens and bird of paradise breeding aviary and Rouna Falls. Up on the scenic Sogeri Plateau take side trips to Owers Corner (Kokoda Track), Varirata National Park, Crystal Rapids cascades and Lake Sirinumu.

FULL DAY SOGERI CROSS-COUNTRY HIKE

From Sogeri commence a six hour guided one way hike following country lanes, four wheel drive tracks, rainforest foot-trails and village garden paths to experience the Sogeri backwoods ... see rolling downs, farming hamlets, old rubber plantations, rich green rainforest, creeks, birds, butterflies and wallabies. Eventually arrive at the Sirinumu Dam for pick up and return to Port Moresby OR take a four hour return hike across open grasslands and streams to get to the Ifakaruku Rock Shelter which features primitive rock art of unknown origin not yet catalogued by the national museum

FULL DAY KOKODA TRACK HIKE

Transfer 90 minutes by car to Owers Corner then take a 6 hour return hike along the first section of the Kokoda Track (Trail) with our experienced walking guide. Scramble down the steep gully to Goldie River, wade across the river and climb part of the way up Imita Ridge on the other side and return. Includes bottled water and packed lunch.

FULL DAY SOGERI JUNGLE VILLAGE TRIP

A one hour drive up Rouna Gorge to Sogeri township, 30 minutes along a bumpy side road, a 30 minute motor boat ride across man made Lake Sirinumu and a 90 minute jungle walk brings you to an isolated jungle village of the Koiari bush people. Includes village tour, children's welcome dance, local style lunch.

Stay overnight in the jungle village with extra time for rainforest walks, swimming in the freshwater stream, mixing with the local people, soaking up the village lifestyle and enjoying more fresh local food. Sleep in a traditional style bamboo hut with rainwater shower. Return to Port Moresby by 6pm next day.
